Closeup of Laura's Mermaid Stitchie - not bad for a first piece! I'm considering adding a touch of beading to it, so perhaps it's not fully finished, and I need to settle on a proper way to finish the back. Pretty excited to start on new pieces!!

I love the way you did the stitching of the tail outline, it's so beautiful.  And the fish blowing bubbles on the tail are so whimsical.  This is really very nice work.
